IGGLES BEAT GIANTS, ATTAIN FIRST AS 'BOYS LOSE
DeSean Jackson was the huge story as the Philadelphia Eagles stunned the homefield NY Giants 45-38 in Giants Stadium Sunday Nite to seize control of the NFC East Division and wrest first place away from both the Giants and the Cowboys, who had lost earlier in the day to San Diego.
The win culminated a run of four straight wins for Andy Reids Eagles, who appear to be on another of their December playoff runs.
DeSean Jackson now has 8 TDs of more than 50 yards, tying the Bears Devon Hester and Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsch of the 1950s for that honor.
He is the most exciting Eagles receiver since Tommy McDonald, as my good pal John Shore points out.
